Proceeds from the sale of "HER" products will be donated to HRH Queen Ameenata Koita's ongoing drive to end period poverty.   

 

Period poverty is defined as inadequate access to menstrual hygiene tools and education, including but not limited to sanitary products, washing facilities and waste management.  Period poverty affects millions of girls and women WORLD WIDE preventing them from leading productive, fulfilling lives by excluding them from activities including school and work.

A USA born African, Queen Ameenata is the Queen of Fulbe in Ashanti Ghana and Enstooled Queen in the Embo Kingdom. Her passion is to help the African Continent to develop modern farming especially cattle ranching. She is also a strong advocate in human/woman’s rights, girl-child education, equality, and equity in traditionally closed spaces.
